Qatar: Between Tradition and Futurism

Taken during my stopover in Doha in 2025, this photograph captures the very essence of Doha, where the country's maritime heritage meets boundless architectural ambition.

What struck me was this contrast between in the foreground, a traditional wooden dhow resting peacefully on the turquoise waters of the Gulf, reminiscent of the pearl fishing era, and in the background, the ultra-modern silhouette of West Bay stands boldly. The contrast is striking:
