Myanmar

Myanmar or former Burma (since June 18, 1989). 

The Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon. Completely covered in gold leaf, it is located 50m high on Singuttara Hill and thus visible from the entire city. 
A sacred place in Burma, a haven of peace, waiting to be discovered. The dominant religion is Buddhism,
it is good to respect local customs by avoiding overly light clothing when visiting the site.
The atmosphere is magical at sunset.
