Text read at the opening on October 7th at Espace des Arts - Le Boulou (66)
"It is worth highlighting the richness of autumnal tones found in most of the works presented here.
It is lyrical painting, there is movement, and for canvases with muted or dark hues which certainly have a dark side, light is never far away.Like in a dramatic musical score.
In some works, a similarity to cave art can be found; indeed, one can distinguish slender, brown silhouettes, reminiscent of prehistoric hunters; these fleeting appearances on the surface of the canvas seem to have traversed successive layers of time and echo the contemporary urban figures seen in other semi-abstract canvases by the artist.
This perhaps signifies that, whatever the ages of man, time and art are witnesses to his passage on earth, the former making him a mere mortal, the latter making him immortal."
