Ethereal colors and evanescent volumes, far from reinforcing the feeling of alienation, touch upon the interval between void and creation, a prefigurative interval where forms and places are in the process of becoming.

Kellestom's works bear witness to a post-modern mysticism, having successfully, without bitterness, mourned the modern era. Keys, locks, electrical wires diverted from their uses and functions: the keys open the doors of dreams and the wires bring us from rupture to serenity.

In his canvases, paintings, collages, Kellestom discerns the presence of an infra-material reality oscillating between figuration and abstraction.

Through the impalpable presence of the human lost like a poppy in the mineral expanse, the artist offers to those who discover his painting what Victor Hugo called the indistinct living beings of space.
