Travel Tips - DUBAI

Dubai, its extravagance and artificial islands

With a French passport, no visa is required !

Dubai is over 30 km long, so no walking to get around; plan a taxi budget, rent a car, or take the metro, but you'll have to walk before reaching your destination.

Booking your activities online before departure is   preferable.

Its artificial islands: The first island built in the shape of a palm tree,"Palm Jumeirah". Its trunk has 16 branches; cars and the automatic metro run on the trunk.

Not far away is the astonishing ship-shaped hotel, which seems to emerge from the water, the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. It is also on an artificial island.  Height 321m

See the tallest tower in the world: the Burj Khalifa  with a height of 828m
