Dubai, its extravagance and artificial islands
With a French passport, no visa is required !

Dubai is over 30 km long, so no walking to get around; plan a taxi budget, rent a car, or take the metro, but you'll have to walk before reaching your destination.
Booking your activities online before departure is preferable.
Its artificial islands: The first island built in the shape of a palm tree,"Palm Jumeirah". Its trunk has 16 branches; cars and the automatic metro run on the trunk.
Not far away is the astonishing ship-shaped hotel, which seems to emerge from the water, the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. It is also on an artificial island. Height 321m
See the tallest tower in the world: the Burj Khalifa with a height of 828m

Book your ticket online before departure. Incredible 360° view of the city.
Two options: go up to the 124th and 125th floors (the 125th floor is accessed by stairs)
or the 148th floor (the price is much higher!
consider heat haze the highest is not necessarily the best!)


Head to Dubai Mall at the foot of the Burj Khalifa tower. Every evening, the Dubai Fountain lights up for a truly sublime water, sound, and light show!
You can take a small boat "Abra" (traditional wooden boat) to get closer to the fountains.
